It has improved usability and functionality compared to the first version. When you move the Z coordinate in After Effects, the apparent scale usually changes. (nearer objects are larger, farther objects are smaller) Adding autoParallax to a layer using a script cancels the apparent size change, allowing you to create a parallax effect animation while maintaining the original layout.
